Booking and Managing Device Repairs

The Admin Console provides a zoomed-out, management view of all repairs occurring across all your store branches.

The Repair Dashboard

Navigate to Repairs > Repair Management. Here you will find a Kanban-style board or a detailed list view of every active ticket.

  • Filter by Status: Isolate tickets that are Pending, Waiting for Parts, or Ready for Pickup.
  • Filter by Branch: Managers can see the repair load of specific stores.

Overriding Quotes and Approving Parts

Technicians at the POS might request parts that are out of stock. From the Admin Console, you can:

  1. Review the ticket.
  2. Automatically generate a Purchase Order for the missing parts.
  3. Adjust the quoted cost if extensive damage was found after the initial intake. Updating the cost triggers a notification to the customer for their approval.

Assigning Technicians

For larger operations, you can route repairs to specific staff members based on their expertise (e.g., assigning all motherboard soldering to a specific senior tech).
